limewire crahed my last computer and now ive gotten a new pc. i have an mp3 player and i cant use the ipod music cards with it and i cant think any other way to get all the music i want other than with limewire so im thinking about downloading it again but i need to know a safe and secure way of using it so that it wont do the same thing it did last time to my new computer. i have mcafee virus protection..so hopefully it will block any viruses but wats a safe way to use limewire...wat should i look for when downloading a song? and how will i know if a song is filled with viruses? please help me

download an anti virus then before you run any file that you downloaded, run a test on the folder where the files are saved. usually the folder is titled shared. path is C:\Documents and Settings\[your username]\Shared
i use avg anti virus. download it on their site. it's free i think. and check regularly for updates
