You were the person who intentionaly or unintiontionally turned the spyware botton on. try locating the botton on one of the bars and turning the event off.
Try superantispyware. It is VERY effective and it is FREE.
I understand your problem and I can tell you it has everthing to do with e-mail and maybe your internet porvider. I use outlook express plus I also can get my e-mail thru my internet provider ( comcast ) I found that if I change my out going mail (SMTP) port to 587 it changes in and out going. I have not had any problems. This is the second time this has happened to me. Check with your provider and see if they have any security warnings. I hope this helps.
Spyware soldier is an application that installs itself on your computer without your permission, and then proceeds to scare you into registering it with fake spyware threats. Do not register this program. Instead, go to www.lavasoft.de and install Ad-aware, and run a scan. Hopefully it will be detected and deleted. If not, contact me and I'll find some more detailed instructions.
I've had this virus/malware whatever you need to call it for over 5 months. I've used smitfraudfix and although its worked for 3 or 4 weeks the virus seems to reappear. I have just tried http://virusinfo.prevx.com/pxparall.asp?... (prevx) and it seems to work. Time will tell but unless I've been dupped into installing an exe which will cause far worse damage (as this virus doesnt seem to do anything except slow the pc, change the browser, bassically annoy) its seems worth a try.
