What a message means from mcafree?

i have mcafre and was told it would cost me 2.95 per min. for guestion. i keep getting this pop-up that saids mcfee detected a potentially unauthrozid change to computer.system guard name internet xployer registry modifed. process name internet xployer publisher microsoft affected items. HKEY-USERSS-I-5-2 registry change detected. Anyone have the same protection as i and does anyone know what this means? i am not goin to pay mcafree to answer my problem. hope i did not confuse you PLEASE HELP if you can.

This is not very serious. It means a setting for internet explorer (your web browser) has been changed. This may have been done by a browser hijacker (I kind of adware that takes over your surfing and gives you ads), but it's just as likely some other legitimate program or even you change the registry setting.

I cant tell exactly from the information provided, however it most likely means that some program (spyware or adware) is attempting to hijack or modify settings in Internet Explorer. I recommend getting ad-aware and running it to remove any possible spyware/adware infections as McAfee is a VERY poor anti-spyware program. A download link is:

Mcafee sucks get nod32. look it up, its the best and its not heavy like mcafee.
