I get a pop up that says it is a default search provider -- do I need something other than ATT&T

Crawler says it is protection against an unwanted default search provider change??

I do not know what Crawler even does or how it lodged in my computer--what should I do? Do I need it???

Sounds like malware. Run all your anti malware progframs manually to remove it.
